Manchester City player, Eric Garcia was on Wednesday night rushed to the medical clinic following an overwhelming head crash with club goalkeeper, Ederson, in City’s 3-0 win over Arsenal in the English Premier League.
Garcia was sent hard to the ground by Ederson as the goalkeeper came out of his penalty region to free the ball in the 80th moment from the game at Etihad Stadium. Garcia has taken away on a cot after about 10 minutes of treatment by clinical staff.
City players seemed worried, with left-back Benjamin Mendy putting his shirt over his face and unfit to look. Man City Head coach, Pep Guardiola in the post-game conference confirmed that Garcia was conscious but further tests will be carried out.
”We are a little bit concerned about Eric. He’s conscious, which is a good sign but he’s going to make an extra test in the hospital.” Guardiola said.
