Former MUSIGA President Obour has lost the NPP Primaries for the Asante Akyem South constituency.
Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour was defeated by the incumbent MP, Hon. Kwaku Asante Boateng.

So this means Obour cannot represent NPP in the upcoming elections and is it’s very clear that his opponent might also win as MP since that’s an NPP stronghold.

Lawyer Kwaku Asante Boateng has retained the seat.
The ruling party NPP is currently holding it’s parliamentary primaries all across the country today, June 20th.
