The manager of afrobeat act Kelvynboy, known as Didi has revealed in an interview that his artiste owes no apology to award-winning dancehall act Stonebwoy.
Speaking in a phone interview with host Zionfelix on Z News, Didi indicated that a person can only apologize for an offense if the person is aware of that offense. Didi said in Kelvynboy’s case, he did not know what he had done to Stonebwoy for which he was to apologize for.
Didi went on to indicate that to date, no one knows why Kelvynboy’s contract with BHIM Nation was terminated. “What are you going to beg for? Because as it stands, nobody knows why Stonebwoy decided to let us go. So what motive are we using to render an apology? So far as there are emotions in this thing, fans will always be fans so even if Kelvynboy apologizes, a fan of Stonebwoy would still not forgive him.
”Didi added that the tension was only going to calm down if both Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy sit down and resolve matters amicably.
“Until the brands have come out to call their people to order, these things will still go on. If our people are going wayward, we need to firm up and call them to order. That is the only way peace would prevail,” Didi added.
