Naa from the Greater Accra Region of Ghana wins Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020 pageant.

Twenty-three-year-old entrepreneur, Naa Dedei Botchway, representing the Greater Accra  Region has been crowned the winner for Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020.

The finale of the 13 weeks of competition fused with entertainment and education was held at the Accra International Conference Center with season judges including Linda Ampaw on the panel, Lydia Forson.

 

She beat off stiff competition from five other finalists, including Kafui [Volta Region representative] who was seen by some as the favorite for this year’s crown, to walk home with the ultimate prize.

Naa becomes the second person from her region to win the GMB crown. Adoley first won the crown in 2008.

Naa gets a brand new car, a cash prize of 10,000 cedis, a round trip to Dubai courtesy Camel Antiseptic’s ‘Buy and Fly and a year supply of GTP fabric among other souvenirs from sponsors.

Ahafo region’s Abena,  who gave Naa good run, came second, walking away with a cash prize of 8,000 cedis, a round trip to Dubai, and a six-months supply of GTP fabric.

Kafui from the Volta  Region eventually took third place. She receives a cash prize of 6,000 cedis, a trip to Dubai, and a three-month supply of GTP fabric.

 Northern representative, Zuzu, placed fourth and walks home with 4,000 cedis cash and a month supply of GTP fabric.

The fifth spot went to Talata who represented the Upper East Region in the competition receives a cash prize of 2,000 cedis and a month supply of GTP fabric.

The final night saw great performances from the legendary Praye, Kidi, as well as Adina.

The event was attended by some past queens and contestants of Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant.

The 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant was on the theme: ‘Uniquely Ghanaian, Exceptionally African’ and for the first time, had 16 contestants from all the regions who throughout the competition, projected their respective cultures to the world.
