14 Incredible Things To Do In Maldives

Snorkeling

One of the reasons I love to swim is because it doesn’t talk. It’s just me, my ears are sounding water, my mouth tastes like it. I grew up on the sea, in Sardinia, and I didn’t go to the beach for a weekend in summer. Snorkeling is one of my favorite things to do and it was rumored that in the Maldives it was reaching a completely different level.

The rumor was right, I suppose. One of the greatest attractions of the Maldives is its marine life and snorkeling is one of the most beautiful things in the Maldives. You will discover an incredible variety of colored fish and corals within moments of getting in the water. It can’t get any better.

Flying Water

Resorts like Adaaran Hudhuranfushi offer water flying activities. It’s one of the funniest things to do in the Maldives and I recommend you try – even if you’re unchangeable.

Water flying requires lots of strength, which you may or may not have, in your legs and abs. It’s a blast, frankly. It is certainly a good laughing thing to do in the Maldives.

Tubes for fun

Amusing tubing is one of the coolest things in the Maldives. It’s a full adrenaline experience, I tried it in Eilat, Israel, and let me tell you it is.

It’s an intense laugh and shouts for 8 minutes. One of the most insane things in the Maldives has to be fun tubing. It’s one million miles from the romantic picture of the paradise archipelago that most people have and yet so much of!

The parachute

Even if you think you’re not afraid of the heights, parasailing is bound to take off your breath after I’ve been a zip fitting in Argentina. Literally.-Literally.

You are going to spread a fast boat ride and the sail, and go up into the air. It’s a wonderful fifteen minutes. The first minute you probably want to think it’s pretty cool. Then you see that the boat is too small down there. Often you wish that you didn’t look like that, and have some very deep breaths to close your eyes.

I promise you that it’s unbelievable – it’s a must to see the Maldives from above. It is one of the most beautiful things to do in the Maldives.

Tauchen

When you visit the Maldives, diving is by far a must. You can only go 12 meters deep if you do not have a license, but even then marine life is absolutely amazing-you can see sharks, eagles rays, and a great deal more.

SUP and surfing

Some of the world’s best waves are in the Maldives. I haven’t tried to surf myself, because the waves seem to be for advanced surfers. However, many people go there in search of waves in particular.

But you can still try to stand up paddle(SUP) if surfing isn’t your business: it’s fun. The water is very smooth and corals and fish can be seen underneath! SUP is a fun, friendly, and easy (good, kind of!) sport in the Palestinian Mountains and great water views.

Angeln

Tours are usually organized around the time of sunset by resorts and local islands. You go out a little before the sun is set and you’ll enjoy the most amazing views from the water. All the necessary fishing equipment will be provided to you and it is a great experience as the waters are filled with fish and you will capture a lot.

Treatment for SPA

There is a spa treatment, which includes things to do in the Maldives. Resorts like Adaaran Prestige Vadoo have a spa with a lot of treatments, including a Balinese massage. There is also a spa. Facial and manicure are other treatments.

Enjoy a wonderful sunset (or sunrise)

Nothing sounds romantic more than watching the sunset or the rising of the sun. And it is common knowledge to admire that particular light towards the end of the day, one of the best things to do in the Maldives.

To achieve perfect results, I suggest that you take this from the plunge pool in an over-the-water bungalow. It has a superb effect. This is what we need to do for a local experience in the Maldives. Head out of the boat and look straight out of the water!

Go to a bank of sand

Sandbanks spread across the Maldives. Sandbanks. They are truly unique sites — a small island made up entirely of white sand, surrounded by pristine clear waters and coral reefs.

There you have to take a boat trip – the captains usually know where to find it. You spend a few hours in fun places. You can not stand longer because the sun is fierce and nothing can protect yourself from it.

Sonnards or gazebos can usually be put on the beach in order to create a shadow. Please be careful to hang out in the water at any time, cover your head with a hat, wear a high protective sunblock factor, and maybe a T-shirt – thank you for your shoulders.

Escape

If one thing in the Maldives is missing, it’s good food. Maldive cuisine is usually quite similar to Sri Lanka’s but you will also have incredible international cuisine. Local cuisine tends to concentrate on fish that are literally also served for breakfast. A lot of mild curries are also present.

From fresh tropical fruit to delicious fish; from barbecued meat to Italian or Japanese dishes; one of the best foods to eat in the Maldives.

Lunch directly on the water

Speaking of food – you can only do one thing if there’s no wind and the tide makes it possible. But it’s a wonderful experience if you manage it. In the water, you can eat with your legs and feet, because a table is mounted on the shallow shores and there is a shade to create some much-needed shade. A delicious lunch is served in an amazing environment

Tour of a local island

Few people visiting the islands where the locals live in the Maldives. It really is a shame. These are beautiful spots for exploring, with beautiful beaches (often separate for Muslims and locals that won’t wear bathrobes), small, local cafés, mosques and schools and friendly people who are hanging around. Make it a point! Make it a point!

Male visitors

The capital of the Maldives is hardly a popular tourist destination, but you should be looking for a genuinely local experience. The local fruit and vegetable market and the nearby fish market are the most interesting places to visit – you can capture a lot of activities in this area and take a look at the major local food products. In particular, I was fascinated by the unbelievable skills of fish cuts!

Discover a beautiful villa

The Maldives include the overwater villas with direct sea access. The villas are well known. I can only say that staying in one is amazing and definitely one of the best things to do in the Maldives.

The rooms are incredibly spacious and feature cozy beds, a swimming pool, and sun deck, and a jacuzzi on the back. The sound of the breeze and sea is the only one you can hear. And the view is just astonishing.
