Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama is leading so far in 3 regions out of the seven regions that the Electoral Commission of Ghana has certified their election result 2020 and declared on its social media pages, xorlali.com can confirm.
On the other hand, the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has so far won in four regions as per the election result 2020
The election result 2020 of the seven regions are; Central Region, Oti Region, Ahafo Region, Volta Region, Bono Region, North East, Upper West. Of these, Akufo-Addo won in Central, Ahafo, Bono, and North East Regions; leaving the remaining for the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama

From the seven regions approved by the electoral commission, John Mahama is leading with about 1, 997, 450 while Akufo-Addo has 1, 500, 310. If we do the maths there is a difference of 497, 140.
The Electoral Commission has revealed that she so far has received 14 regions results but she was able to display only 7 of the regions and promises to continue today.
Meanwhile, the two leading parties – the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) claim have independently done their own collations and declared themselves winners of the election.
