Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has taken to his social media handles to congratulated President Nana Akufo-Addo for his reelection as president of Ghana for the second time.
In a series of tweets sighted by xorlali.com, the 77year-old lauded Ghanaians for organizing a very peaceful 2020 election. According to Muhammadu Buhari from how Ghanaians held a peaceful election means that constitutional democracy has come to stay in West Africa.
He further added that Nigeria and Ghana share close historical and cultural ties, and he looks forward to working with President Akufo-Addo.
