Ghanaians Mark Independence With “FlagTheFace” Challenge On Twitter

Twitter is currently buzzing with fun as many Ghanaian celebrities have taken online to celebrate Ghana’s 64th independence day with the hashtag “TheFlagTheFace”.

Using the hashtag “TheFlagTheFace”, these ladies have shared beautiful photos of themselves online to prove to other countries that indeed Ghana is blessed with a lot of beautiful, intelligent, and hardworking women. The women who so far have participated in the hashtag “TheFlagTheFace” are Blondes, brunettes, tall, slim including some popular Ghanaian celebrities,  such Salley Galley, Afia Schwarzenegger. Meanwhile, due to the existence of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s anniversary only witnessed a brief ceremony at the Jubilee House. This is the first time the country has virtually celebrated its Independence Day, as it is usually commemorated with parades across the country. Below are some of the tweets;
